I have applied for Canadian PR (AINP) and would like to know after getting canadian PR,will it possible for H4 and H1 person to work for Canada based company by staying in US or not?
I think I am not impacting US labor or anything. I will be working for Canadian company from US. I will be getting Salary / Tax deduction in Canada.

...on whether you did a Bachelors or Masters. Also you can wait till December to get your Degree and then apply for the GC.

Also, if one one "qualifies" with all the requirements he or she can apply based on the TIN #. The board must be informed that a TIN is used and will need to be updated with SSN when you recieve one.

Scott, here's goes the B&H 10 rated used 10D and 1Ds again. Why B&H have to sell this at such a premium of $6,030 above that of Adorama's $5,200? Are they supposed to be married couples, or, at least civil union?

I believe they go by RD if the PD is current. My RD is jul 2nd and my application reached them early AM on Jul 2nd.

Hello - I just recd. the TRANSFER NOTICE for me & my wife's 485 case stating that the case has been transferred to USCIS-NBC, PO Box 648005, Lee's Summit, MO 64064. We had filed for AOS in July 2007 and my priority date for is April 2006 (EB-2).
I would appreciate it if somebody can please shed some light on what this means for us. What are the implications for us.? Will the case be transferred to the local office.? Should i start to gather documents for a interview.
Would appreciate any advice i can get. Thank you!

I don't know the exact time my application reached on July 2nd.
I havn't yet received my receipts nor checks cashed.

I filed concurrently for I-140, I-485 with EAD and AP on Aug 15th at TSC (EB3) and received receipt notices on 10/14/07 for all of the above applications. I also can get case status online successfully for the other 3 applications.
My attorney contacted USCIS (as they said that I cannot inquire on the I-140 and that it can only be the employer or the attorney) and they (USCIS) said they can see my case on their system but don't know why I cannot.
Is anybody in the same boat as I am? Should I be worried that I cannot get online status even after 8 weeks from the time the reciept notices were issued? Any advice/input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Guys, thank you so much for your replies. Thanks for giving me the ideas on how to address the letter. My parents cannot read/write/speak English (not a single word), so I thought it would be nice for them to have a letter to show at the port of entry. They are traveling with a boy from back home who is a student in a nearby university.
One more question if you guys do not mind, my parents asked for visa to attend my graduation in Dec 07, but they could not come at that time. There were two reasons, 1. did not find somebody to travel with right away and 2. after a month or so, my grandma got sick and was in hospital for a long time. She passed away a month ago. Do you think my parents will have trouble at the port of entry as they did not come for graduation and coming after so many months? Thanks.

hi..Many thanks..this is an excellent information..I was suggested to wait for the H1 Decession and then get L2 status.Good to know that we can do L2 and EAD cocurrent filing.is there any URL about this information ?? Secondly..

I was looking for getting VISA for my Niece and Nephew, who are below 14yrs. But I didnt find an option for them not going to consulate.
it take more effort n paperwork to get the visa without going to consulate even for the kids below 14, better option is to go to consulate.

I have a problem with my I-140. its has been denied. The I-485 frenzy was going on and the attorney is not responding. After follow up I relaized that I got a rfe to show 5 years exp. I have masters degree and 7 years of experience. my experience letter was missed, which had 5 years experience.
the uscis people interpreted requirement wrong as our labor requirement says BS+5 years or MS
They sent rfe for 5 more years despite me having Masters.
The response which my attorney had given was that he has MS and he does not need 5 years experience more to qualify.
I was not in the loop during this process. the web site is not updated too. i got denial last week.
After talking to attorney, he filed motion to reconsider with all the proofs.
its been 10 days, i have not received any notice of receipt yet.
how long does it take to get a receipt.
can i file i-485 now, since my I-140 is applied to reconsider? Is thrre any way out?
