None of those hard drives in my opinion. Get a Hitachi 500 GB 7200 rpm drive. Best bang for buck. It's quiet, fast, and reliable. There's a reason apple uses them and Toshiba over WD and Seagate. I've had bad experiences with the whole Scorpio line of hard drives. They were always loud and spun up and down at random intervals causing beachballs.
Thanks for the suggestion. It receives good reviews. However, I cannot find one for a good price. The best prices is $178. This is the problem with living in my country.
The reason why I posted those drives is because they are the only ones with non-exorbitant prices.

So is anyone else using the beta besides me? It seems to run ok. Still needs work, for example it does not use all more cores to %100. It also uses ALOT of ram. Around 50 mb per core times 4. and thats real ram not including virtual. That alot of ram when you only have a GB. :(

1) Thees models had a problem with the neck, it would wear out and the display would be like a limp noodle. Kinda like the second pic they have there where it's touching the desk all the way down. Thats what they do over time and they don't want to stay up after that. Unless you replace the neck which is a HUGE expense.

Got one! The Best Buy in Gatineau was showing online stock this afternoon. Called to confirm, found out they only had the 1 unit and then drove over ASAP. The exact model I wanted too... 64GB Black Wi-Fi only.

Personally, I think it's a refresh rate issue which I think is a software issue. If I put any of my LCDs on the wrong refresh rate, they have identical lines to those of the powerbook.

I was worried that'd be the case. I reckon you're best bet might be to take it back to Apple quickly if it's not too much trouble for you. They should be very good about fixing it considering it stopped working under their watch. Sorry I can't be more helpful. :o

If you are unfamiliar with php or programming, start off with a blank page to test it out. Then proceed to put that code in different parts of the page to see how it comes out.

I have a pair of these now too, and highly recommend them. I had a pair of Shure e3c's that bit the dust, and used the $79 apple in-ears for a while after that, but these are by far the best.

hey everyone i just installed the dev version of lion on my spring 2011 mbp. i got the run around but finaly installed it. it sucked rlly bad. so i wanted to uninstall it and reinstall snow leopard. so i put the disk in, the window opens up, i it on the installer, then a window poped up and said "this application cannot be installed on 10.7". so i look around the internet franticaly looking for a solution. one guy suggested that i should insert the disk, go to sytm prefs, and select the disk as the start-up disk. then i restarted the comp. it turned off then on. i could hear the disk running but then it just went to that gray screen with the apple and has stayed their for the last half an hour. i have tried force shut-off. and it turns on and just stays at the gray apple. and btw i didnt back any of my stuff up so P L E A S E I honestly BEG: SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! im freaking out!

the screen sits away from windows and the sun.
i don't smoke.
there's no dog.
the areas that are yellow tinged follow the edges of the screen and best i can figure, it's the pixels burning out in a weird way, or (less likely in my view) dustparticles inside the glass that's making it discolored.
(shrug)
