I had a really good experience in Nogales last week, I got my visa stamping on the same day of my appointment and the NVS International team was great. They arranged everything for me:transportation from the Tucson Airport to Nogales, they arranged my hotel stay, bank draft as well as transportation from the hotel to the consulate. I am waiting for the approval of my I-131. Can I fax a request to approve/speedup the process? If I can send the fax, can someone pass the fax number?
Background:
I applied for I-131 online in May, 2008 at TEXAS Service center. I applied before 120 days of the expiration. In December 2008 I got an RFE asking for the reasons why I applied before 120 days of expiration of AP authorization. I sent the response on Dec 11th.

Hi Friends,
I have been cheated by a desi consulting company e-Data experts located in Harrisburg, PA. They applied for my labor in December of 2007 and it was audited and finally I was told in June 2010 that it was denied. Actually it was denied in January 2010 but they did not reveal this information intentionally. Now I am in my 6th year of my H1b which expires in March 2011. Can someone help me out how to sue the company for not revealing the information and firstly how can I stay in the country. BTW I have done Masters here and I am with another company now. Appreciate all your suggestions.

Hello everyone,
I had filed for my I485 on 19th July at Nebraska. My 90 days are getting over on 19th Oct. Still I have not received any receipts for I-485,EAD,I-131.
My lawyer is going to call USCIS to inquire about my case.
Does any one had experience calling USCIS after 90 days were over and the USCIS tracked your application and you got your receipts.
Would be great if any one can share there experiences.

There have been some reports on the internet that people received EAD card with AP on it. According to the AILA, the USCIS issued such card in error. The EAD will be valid but AP note on the card is invalid. The USCIS advises them to contact the agency for instructions to obtain replacement card. Isn't there a saying that when one gets something which is too hard to believe to be true, then it is not true. Single EAD/AP card will not be issued until they announce such in the future!

max, the problem is there is no clear cut definition of how an IO is supposed to respond to the scenarios you mentioned.
but i suggest that you search IV archives as this subject has been discussed in-depth before. i remember 1 or 2 ppl posting their AC21 and subsequent GC approval experience via self-employment/ LLC registration.

My H4 is expiring on 6th May 2011 and am planning to enroll in university in summer semester starting june 2011 and would be filing change of status also. my question is in case my F1 doesnt get approve before my H4 expires, will i get of status?Can i stay legally after H4 expires and before F1 gets approved?Pls advice.

Its not an issue. Make sure u fill all ur future applications like ssn, green card etc as per your passport. also ur birth certificate should be like ur passport details name date of birth and place of birth.

Since stay in India need to be very short and also my travel is very near, I need to know whether it is safe to travel on an approved I 797 from my current employer?
