Has this actually been confirmed or is this just a rumor? Everything I hope is that they keep online multiplayer free and access to PSN Store. DOn't really care if they add a small fee to get some extra things, as I don't need them anyway

There are only two diesels currently offered in the US: the MB e350 and VW Jetta. However, neither are availible for purchase in several states, including California, and New York.
However, the regs allow ownership of these diesels within those states if the purchaser runs through severael hoops. Is anyone familiar with the process for purchasing the car out of state and importing back to the state with the prohibition? It involves driving the car for several thousand miles for a minimum number of months before registering in the home state. I'm most interested in California.

at the very least, if you were not a mod, you would be a G3
...and maybe even higher
...my guess is that 604e at the very highest reasonable level is at 15,000, and G3 at 20,000 but i would assume much lower for those levels and maybe G4 is at 20,000
...and G5 at 50,000 or 100,000 since it would be no fun for someone to reach that and have nothing to loook forward to
it could be that G5 is set at a million to make it unattainable:p
note: maybe arn has not decided yet what to give people beyond a 601 and there is no set level for the next level

I was assured by the Verizon rep who activated my phone and added the data, that if I were to upgrade to another 3G smartphone down the line that my unlimited data would be grandfathered, now when it comes to 4G LTE, no I don't get unlimited of that. The only part of my plan they weren't sure would get grandfathered if I upgraded is the 5GB tethering/hotspot allowance.

"This person's contract expires February 10, 2013, but they love their device so much they never come in and purchase another device. That's great news!
Did you get the OEM or Retail version? I'm ordering the OEM version, but I don't know if I'll be missing any screws or anything.
(I don't need the cables to clone my drive - I'm gonna migrate my data files using Time Machine.)

To intall in your MBP, the bare drive is all you need. There are four mounting nubby screws on the old drive you need to move to the new drive. Use a #6 Torx driver to remove them. Easy.

Me too. I really hope Apple kicks iWork up a notch and makes it commercial grade in terms of speed and lack of bugs, and adds in the missing features.
iWork has the potential to be brilliant. I'd love to dump MS Office once and for all. I'm there with Keynote, and with a very, very solid upgrade with Pages, I'll be able to dump Word.

Apple already has a split-system.
They sell this year's phone for one price and last year's phone for a much cheaper price.
I don't see any reason why they'd give that up and start selling 2 brand-new models at different prices. I don't understand what that gains them over the current system. Any blog that says there will be a 'pro model' but doesn't explain how that's better than the current system doesn't count much in my opinion.

I got my 10.5 yesterday, but I still want to go to the apple store near my office (it's only a block away). Do you guys think they will be giving the free stuff to only people who buy leopard, or does anyone in the crowd get one? I plan to buy a new bag and some accessories for my MacBook.

It IS a reasonable price to protect your 1GB Shuffle. People are protective of their Apple kit, because it is designed so well. They want to preserve the look, even if it costs a little extra. $30 is still way cheaper than replacing your Shuffle because of scuffs and scratches on the case.
And besides, it's blue, to boot... ;)
interesting way of seeing it...
yet, why preserve the pristine look of the shuttle when you will not be able appreciate it with this case on?
and then of course, alu scratches badly, so one would need to buy a case to protect the case. yikes! :)

You phone searching for a tower to "talk" to is VERY hard on the battery. This is likely your major problem.
thats what I thought it was, I will have to put it into airplane mode more to solve this problem, but I still do believe there is a problem with the battery so I will do a restore for good measure just to be sure.

- queu.dat
- work (folder)
- unitinfo.txt
- FAHlog.txt
Uninstall folding completely, install the console version and answer the standard questions (the configuration routine). Then stop the console version, because it already started folding on a new WU and replace the new files which it has created (named the same as the 4 above) with the ones you copied. It should go further with the old WU.

just spoke to someone at the apple store in the grove, they said grove security wont let people line up till 7am but i still plan on getting their earlier... also the parking structure is open 24/7 so you can enter at any time
