Ask them to re-apply PERM as soon as possible.Its faster to re-apply then get the auditted PERM outcome...

Hi!. I am helping my brother for his PERM. He has a BS Electrical Engineering in the Philippines. Is there a requirement to get an education equivalency assessment for PERM? Does he need to have a US Electrical Engineering license as a support for PERM as well?
He has not yet started yet. We are still studying several options. He also has 7 years experience in the Philippines. Can that BS +7 years outside the US count for EB2 PERM?

I think we need to expose employers who are taking advantage of us in different ways just because we are stuck with them due to retrogression. This way if we cannot change the legislation right away we can atleast scare the crooks by exposing them so that they cannot trap new people.

In theory, you can be the beneficiary of 2 H-1B petitions pending at the same time. This happens fairly often. Both could be approved and then you would be eligible to work for either company as long as that approval had not later been withdrawn.

Dear All,
I have a question regarding the H1b visa quotas.
The USCIS website stated on April 20th that they are still accepting applications as the H1 quota of 65000+ 20000(Masters) was not full.
Does anyone have any information about the latest news in this regard?

I have question , How long it will take after submitting the evidence . I have received RFE on Jan 15 and submitted 03/25/2008 and I have seen LUD 03/27/2008 .
How long they will take time to decide the case?

I spoke with TSC Rep today. I called up to re-check what lot of other guys are saying here that TSC no longer is honoring 180 day namecheck rule mandated by court few months back.
TSC Rep said she has no idea about 180 day rule but knows about FBI/USCIS joint effort for clearing name checks pending more than year, 2 years etc.
So atleast, my call suggested that some people at USCIS have no idea about 180 days rule mandaged by court.

I am fortunate enough to have a pretty good arts and sports immigration practice. I've met a lot of really talented people from both fields over the years.
